The design draws inspiration from an artifact uncovered during the archaeological excavations at Saruq Al Hadid: a clay vessel that lay beneath the desert sand for thousands of years, a quiet witness to the region’s deep history.
Soft organic forms and a calm, sand-toned palette reflect the surrounding landscape. The materials and objects evoke the presence of handcraft and time.
The interior seeks to preserve a subtle connection to this heritage. A space where art, materiality and imperfect handcrafted forms are allowed to speak in a contemporary language.
A bold reimagining of a Sand-toned hues define the palette, echoing the surrounding landscape and bringing a sense of calm to the space. The restrained colors allows the eye to rest, creating a quiet and balanced foundation for the interior.
Soft organic forms and comfortable furniture complement this atmosphere, creating spaces that feel relaxed, natural and timeless.
A calm and restrained background creates space for carefully chosen accents. Artworks and decorative textiles introduce warmth, texture and quiet character to the interior.
The interior is light, airy and thoughtfully designed. It is calm, yet rich in character, expressed through carefully considered details and art.
The palette is carefully balanced. Avoiding pure white and very dark tones, the interior responds naturally to the strong sunlight. The design introduces character through art and carefully selected details. This allows the interior to remain flexible and adaptable.
A calm background is complemented by elegant elements such as curved partitions, artworks and thoughtfully chosen furniture. Together they create a balanced composition that residents can easily adapt to their own taste.
The bedroom is a serene and carefully composed space. Soft, curved wall elements shape the room and lend it a relaxed atmosphere, mirrored in the softness of the furniture and lighting.
The room`s curved forms are balanced by objects that feel almost hand-shaped. Sculptural bedside tables and a table lamp that appears carved from stone introduce texture and character. These elements subtly reference the ancient objects discovered in the desert during the archaeological excavations at Saruq Al Hadid in Dubai.
A contemporary artwork from a local gallery completes the composition. The space is designed as a peaceful background for carefully chosen objects - details that personalize the interior and add character.
The living area is designed in the same spirit. The space combines the living room and kitchen in one open composition. The minimalist kitchen is balanced by soft curved forms and a comfortable seating area.
The kitchen and dining area follow the same design principle used throughout the apartment. A minimalist kitchen forms a calm background, with appliances fully integrated and visually concealed.
Accent elements introduce warmth to the space. A dining table with natural wood texture and matching chairs bring a sense of materiality. A simple pendant light above the table adds a soft and cozy atmosphere during dining.
