Presidents of Four Countries Open International Golf Club on Issyk-Kul with Concepts by TBP
On 30 July, an international-standard golf club on the shores of Issyk-Kul was officially inaugurated. TBP developed the architectural and interior concepts for the Golf Club building and the Golf Academy pavilion.
The opening ceremony was led by President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, highlighting the project's significance for the region. During the ceremony, the four heads of state performed the ceremonial first tee shots, officially inaugurating the new golf club.
The golf club forms part of a 140-hectare mixed-use development that includes an 18-hole championship golf course, a Golf Academy, 4- and 5-star hotels with a total of 500 rooms, a 120-room family hotel, a residential district and a wellness and thermal centre.
Speaking at the ceremony, President Sadyr Japarov emphasized that the development of sports infrastructure is one of the priorities of the country's state policy. He noted that Kyrgyzstan is developing modern sports facilities that meet international standards while creating opportunities for people to engage in sport. He also stated that the new golf club on the shores of Issyk-Kul will become an important part of the country's sports and tourism infrastructure.
