The Museum of retro cars will be located in the Prokshino - sports and event cluster in New Moscow. The key idea of the Retro cars museum’s building is the movement which is embodied in architecture.
The two-storey building is made in as a simple box with sheds-lights on rooftop level – symbols of an air intakes of a racing car. The facades of the building are stylized as a radiator, and the media screen mounted on the roof visually "moves" like a wave or a fluttering shawl.
The museum space functions are organized not only on two interior levels, but it also provides space on rooftop with an amphitheatre for recreation, events, and a cafe pavilion.
Inside, the levels are connected by a ramp system – they are also exhibition space for cars. The first level walls are fully glazed. They allow people to look inside. The second level of the facade is located on the same level with the highway passing nearby – drivers and passengers become the main spectators. Twisted lamellas are in constant visual movement.
The future museum will become a participant of car and a meeting place for various automobile communities.
